That’s apparently where the laptop that was supposed to replace mine went. It was signed for by some Mark guy.

Mark, you have my Studio 14z. I hope you’re enjoying it. I’m certainly not.

Now, I understand the confusion. Not everyone is a cartographer. Certainly a small margin of error is in order:
Dell shipping has a small margin of error

This must be Dell’s new laptop recycling initiative. They are so forward-thinking that they skip past the part where you get to own and enjoy it and get straight to giving it out to a needy person elsewhere in the country. Thank-you, Dell, for being so socially conscientious! I’m glad that the laptop that I am still paying my hard-earned money for is in the hands of someone who might need (want?) it more than I do.

[Edit] On Friday the rep. asked me to wait until Monday and that they would contact me about it then. I told him I had been waiting two months. He practically begged me to wait the weekend. I didn’t see the harm in waiting – so here I am on Tuesday with him begging for even more time. This time he wants me to wait until Thursday. I told him that I’ve been waiting long enough – and that I might as well cancel the order at this point and go buy something from Future Shop. Well, here I am waiting until Thursday.
